Colgate Magical Story with Sea World Creatures

To enhance the knowledge and creativity of a child, this time Colgate has designed four different packs having a story line in them. These packs have many sea world creatures and other famous characters. The objective of this activity is to make the children imagine a story in a new way. On the other hand, they are able to know about many trivia and tidbits about sea creatures. 

When I receive these four packs, my daughter seems very happy. She started observing all the characters printed inside the packs. I told her to cut all the characters and try to weave a story.

She was very enthusiastic to do this project. She took it as a new task. She cut all the characters and wrote all the information on a sheet of paper. It was very informative because around 15 sea creatures have been mentioned in all the four packs. Collectively it is like a sea world picture book for a child. 

My daughter weaved a Colgate magical story, which I would like to mention here.

Blackbeard, with his assistant Sadie, was always in search of treasure hidden under the sea. He was very experienced sailor and navigator. He had many magical powers. He had a sword with magical powers. He could fight with any dangerous animals with the help of his sword.  Sadie, on the other hand, was very clever and could understand many languages and had great knowledge and behavior of sea world animals.

They had a parrot which could imitate human voice. They were on sail to search the treasure in the Indian Ocean.  

They found the colourful Coral reefs in their sea route. Sadie was noting down the details of animals and sea world creatures around the Coral Reefs. They saw many dolphins during their navigation. Some were small and some were big. Dolphin is a very cool animal.  They saw sting ray, killer whale, Barracuda, Sea horse, Sea turtle, Lion fish and many other sea animals during their hunt of the treasure. Sadie was using many devices to find out the location of castle. They had to find the castle so that they could get the treasure map. 

With the help of modern gadgets, Sadie helped the Blackbeard to find the exact location of the castle. Now Blackbeard prepared himself to get down under the sea water.

When he dived into sea water, it was very pleasant environment inside. The sea water was like blue world all around. The Blackbeard chanted some magical words. He saw a mermaid in front of him showing him the way to castle.  He saw sharks and crabs roaming around but he was fearless as he was having the magical sword. After searching here and there, he was able to find the treasure map. Now the final journey started. He had to find the treasure. 

After swimming around half an hour, he saw a shipwreck. There he saw sea animals like star fish, puffer fish, etc. As he was nearing the treasure, he was attacked by a sword fish. Sword fish attacked his left hand. But the Blackbeard was a brave man. In the reply, he attacked the sword fish, and finished it in single blow.

When the octopus saw the fight between the Blackbeard and Sword fish, it became afraid and fled away. Thus the Blackbeard got the treasure easily.

How important is it for children to catch up on lost growth

It is the wish of every parent that his child should have proper physical and mental health. Some children attain their physical development, i.e. height and weight, according to their age, while some children lag behind. ध्यातव्य है कि इस हिंसा का प्रभाव सिर्फ बालक पर ही नहीं लड़कियों पर भी पड़ता है. टीवी लड़कियों में बहादुरी पूर्ण काम करने की प्रेरणा देना चाहता है. कुछ हद तक यह बच्चों को कानून अपने हाथ में लेने को प्रेरित करता है. चलती बस में किसी को पीट देना. मार पीट या लड़ाई कब करनी चाहिए और कब नहीं इसक सही सही निर्णय लेने की परिपक्वता बच्चों में नहीं होती, इस प्रकार टीवी बच्चों को इस तरफ ले जाती है.

अब यहाँ जिम्मेदारी सरकार और परिवार की बनती है कि बच्चों  के आगे परोसे जानेवाले टीवी कार्यक्रम को कैसे परखा जाए ताकि बच्चों को हिंसात्मक और अनैतिक प्रोग्राम देखने से रोका जा सके.सरकारों को विश्व स्तर पर कानून बनाकर इसपर नियंत्रण रखना चाहिए. बच्चों को सिर्फ उसी तरह के कार्यक्रम देखने दिया जाय जिससे उनका सकारात्मक मानसिक और शारीरिक विकास संभव हो सके. टीवी पर इस तरह के कार्यक्रम बनानेवालों को थोड़ी परेशानी आयेगी लेकिन समग्र रूप से बच्चों का बहुत भला हो जायेगा.

Yatra for knowledge and Entertainment

I would like to share my journey to Agra. As you all know, Agra is famous for one of the seven wonders of world – The Taj Mahal. When the word Taj Mahal comes in mind, it reminds us the love of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved queen Mumtaz Begum.

Preparation for the journey

When it was finalized that we are going to visit the Taj Mahal, I started to read the travel blogs and wrote some useful tips which I thought were relevant for this journey.  My husband booked the railway ticket from Patna to Delhi.  One can opt for Domestic Airlines from Patna to Delhi. But we opted train for this journey to see the country side.  After staying two days in Delhi, we had to go to visit the Taj Mahal. 

On proposed day we took our train from Patna to Delhi. This journey was pleasant.  After resting for two days in Delhi, we took our train to Agra, i.e. Taj Express from Hazrat Nizamuddin Station. It takes around 4 hours to reach Agra. 

We were four people - me, my husband and two kids.  When we reached Agra station, we saw many taxi drivers and agents were asking for a cab.  We met a person who was very nice in his talks. I booked his cab for our journey. His name was Anwar. He was not only a cab driver for me but also our guide for the whole journey. 
He suggested us to first visit Fatehpur Sikri. It is around 40 km away from Agra City. We reached there by 12 o’clock. It the midway, we had our lunch. 

In Fatehpur Sikri, there are many monuments to visit. Buland Darwaza, Dargah of Saint Nizamuddin Aulia, Panch Mahal, Palaces of Jodhabai and other begums, etc. 

We came back to Agra around 5 o’clock in the evening, so we checked in a hotel near to the Taj Mahal.
On next day we went to see the world famous monument – The Taj Mahal. When we entered the campus of the Taj, we were surprised to see the huge entrance gates. 

Wah Taj Wah!

Oh My God! What a beautiful monument! We were mesmerized when we saw the Taj Mahal first time. Really its wonderful. 
No one can believe that it is a 450 years old structure.  When we entered the main building of this monument, it was a onetime experience. Now I could understand why people around the world, wish to come and visit the Taj at least once in his life.  They took International Flights from around the world and came India to see this tomb of love.

The four minarets look alike from any side, either from main gate side or from Yamuna river side. We were fortunate that the main tombs of the emperor and empress were opened. The designs and carvings on white marbles indicate the emperor's love for nature, flowers and arts.  Its campus is about 42 acres in area.  It is said that the best quality stones and marbles had been used to build this tomb.

The white marble dome that surmounts the tomb looks great. The Taj Mahal  is a UNESCO world heritage site. I would suggest everyone to visit this spectacular monument at least once in life. I can say yatra is a mode of entertainment as well as knowledge. Really, this was my Ideal Yatra.
